This privacy policy explains how Staudenmann Studio GmbH, Zürich, Switzerland (“we”) processes personal data in connection with the online shop staudenmann-jewellery.com. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable to customers in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we process

  • Orders & payment: name, address, e-mail, phone, order details. Payments are processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal); we never see your full card details.
  • Customer account: login e-mail, order history, wishlist.
  • Newsletter & back-in-stock notifications: e-mail address, only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Website analytics & marketing: with your cookie consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to measure and improve our website and advertising. Without consent, only technically necessary cookies are set.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to fulfil contracts (order processing and delivery), based on your consent (newsletter, analytics/marketing cookies) and based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing our shop.

Sharing

Data is shared with service providers necessary to run the shop: Shopify (hosting & checkout), payment providers, shipping carriers, and — with consent — analytics/marketing providers. Some providers process data outside Switzerland/the EEA; safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses apply.

Retention

We keep personal data as long as required for the purposes above and statutory retention periods (in particular commercial and tax law).
